Saint Paul is proud to be the host city for the 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in January 2008. The event, held annually since 1914, is the nation’s most prestigious figure skating event. Over the course of a week the event will crown 12 national champions in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dancing on the senior, junior and novice levels.

Event History & Details:

Economic Impact:
Recent host cities have reported economic impact in excess of $30 million, and hotel room nights have numbered around 7,000.

Local Organizing
Committee:
Led by the Twin City Figure Skating Association (TCFSA), encompassing 20 member clubs from both the metro and out-state areas, and officials from the Saint Paul RiverCentre Convention & Visitors Authority (RCVA) and Xcel Energy Center.
