Saint Paul, MN — Patrons planning to attend events at or near Xcel Energy Center, Saint Paul RiverCentre and Roy Wilkins Auditorium in downtown Saint Paul on Saturday, March 11 should allow extra time and use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. In addition to several events taking place on our campus, streets surrounding Rice Park will be closed Friday, March 10 – Sunday, March 12. Street closures include Washington Street from 5th Street to Kellogg Boulevard, and 4th Street from Market Street to Washington Street.

Heavier traffic is expected due to the following events: 

·      MSHSL Boys Hockey State Tournament – Xcel Energy Center

·      Let’s Play Hockey Expo – Saint Paul RiverCentre

·      Show Me Reptile & Exotics Show – Saint Paul RiverCentre

·      Minnesota Roller Derby – Roy Wilkins Auditorium
