Sustainability is an important tenet of our organization. As part of our commitment to sustainability, this includes finding ways to go beyond the four walls of our facility and straight into the heart of our community. Critical to that are our highways. Twice a year, our organization has committed to clean up a stretch of Highway 52 south of downtown Saint Paul through Minnesota’s Adopt a Highway program.
This initiative helps keep Minnesota highways and rest areas remain clean and free of litter by having volunteer groups come and pick up trash on their stretch of “adopted” road. This year, our employees have removed 1,350 pounds of debris from the roadways.
Not only does it keep Saint Paul looking beautiful, this is a great way for our employees to do a service project together live out one of our core values: sustainability.
