Saint Paul RiverCentre and Xcel Energy Center Release Annual Sustainability Report (July 2014 – June 2015)

SAINT PAUL, MN - Saint Paul RiverCentre and Xcel Energy Center have released their annual sustainability report for July 2014 through June 2015. The organization believes that measurable goals and being transparent are vital to an effective sustainability program.

In 2014, the complex accomplished something unprecedented. They were the first in the world to achieve the following three environmental certifications: LEED for Existing Buildings, Green Globes for Continuous Improvement of Existing Buildings, and APEX/ASTM certification as a Venue for Sustainable Events. This year, they continued their journey, pushing each of their programs a little further and stretching toward the next set of goals and objectives. The organization is committed to being a sustainability leader in the events industry, which means constantly improving and integrating new processes and technologies that keep them ahead of the curve.
