Donations
It is inevitable that items are left behind at the conclusion of the event. The leftover materials vary from centerpieces to food to construction materials. Check out our post-event donation resources guide for a list of organizations that may take these items off your hands and find them a second home.

Green Team
-
Saint Paul RiverCentre is known for sustainable events. It is important to us to be proactive with events to work towards lessening the carbon footprint left behind once the event is over.
To do that, our staff enrolls our Green Team for events with a high volume of leftover food. At the conclusion of the event, our Green Team will work with the event’s exhibitors to separate leftover items with the goal of keeping as much as possible out of the waste stream. Events are encouraged to get connected with a local food shelf to enable eligible food to be donated to the local community, and our Green Team works hand in hand with exhibitors to help ensure that items not suitable for donation get composted or recycled properly. Our Green Team weighs all the items suitable for compost and recycling, and provides the event organizer with a sustainability report to track its efforts.
To enroll our Green Team in your event, please reach out to your Event Manager.
